Unlike almost all other aftermarket suspension kits, comfort has been an absolute priority in the development process, turning your car into the perfect daily-driver that it should always have been.

With this Luxury Suspension Kit, affordability was the other key priority in our development, leveraging economies of scale and using our existing Dual Rate Linear Spring technology. We've achieved this at a price point considerably below our top-rated Unplugged Coilover suspension upgrades.

The outcome is a sophisticated suspension kit that offers a degree of adjustability while significantly enhancing the comfort and performance of your Tesla Model 3.

The improvement to ride quality will be particularly striking on a higher-mileage car - as we've experienced multiple times how much the factory dampers degrade over the years. As it's a gradual deterioration, you may not notice the loss of damping ability. But the moment you drive away on your new Luxury Suspension Kit, you'll be in no doubt of the transformation!

The Luxury Suspension Kit is designed for use with the addition of UP Dual-Rate Lowering Springs for optimised performance, which are included within the price. For those who already have UP Dual-Rate Lowering Springs, we can supply the dampers alone without the springs upon request.

Product Features

The Luxury Suspension Kit has been tuned specifically for the Model 3, factoring in weight, balance, valving and stroke length for optimised sport dynamics, yet with added comfort as a bonus. These twin-tube dampers offer a longer stroke and include advanced internal hydraulic bump stop technology that offers smoother, longer stroke actuation which reduces harshness at full stroke. The elongated stroke range further ensures maximum performance and comfort over uneven and rough road surfaces. Tuning calmer rebound without high valve rates results in an increase in stability at higher speeds.

The degree of comfort that is desired can be selected and adjusted with the Luxury Suspension Kit. We recommend using the preset default damping setting which is optimised for a perfect balance of comfort and performance stability. However, should you desire a specific setting for your application you can follow the quick-reference guide and make simple adjustments to the shocks by turning the knobs at the top prior to install.

The Dual-Rate Linear Lowering Springs offer more comfort AND more performance. This Dual-Rate Linear Lowering Spring technology offers two distinct spring rates within a single spring. The initial rate, approximately 25% softer, enhances comfort during everyday driving, absorbing bumps and potholes with ease. When the suspension compresses further, such as during spirited driving, the second spring rate engages, reducing body roll, improving handling, and enhancing grip. This dual-rate design is the magic that ensures comfort during daily use yet a sportier feel when the car is pushed harder.

Offered in three ride height options (if Lowering Springs are selected): Mild (0.7” drop), Moderate (1.5” drop), and Low (2” drop). Note that specific applications may yield height variances of up to 0.25 inches.

Lowering is proven to reduce drag and increase efficiency. Given the Model 3’s flat-bottom underside, lowering the vehicle increases the air-flow velocity beneath the car reducing air pressure, and as a result, reduces drag which is the catalyst for the efficiency. The cleaner air beneath a lowered Model Y can also clean the air at the rear end which contributes to the efficiency improvements.

By focusing solely on essential design elements, optimising materials, and leveraging economies of scale, we deliver a cost-effective solution without compromising quality. I’ve always felt that the ride was a bit stiff and jittery with the stock suspension. Looking around for a solution, I came across this luxury suspension kit which seemed the perfect solution providing performance and value! I bought this kit with the mild springs which reduced the ride height a little less than an inch. The dual rate linear springs make a big difference in the ride quality. Definitely provides a sportier look with the slight drop too.

Do you install parts?

No, we don't provide a fitting service. All Unplugged Performance parts are designed and manufactured in a way that any competent professional can install our parts on your Tesla - just the same as on any ICE car.

How long will it take to get my orders?

It depends on where you are. Orders for the UK will be processed immediately and typically take 5-7 business days to arrive.

Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

However, if a product shows as being unavailable from UK stock, we will need to source from the Unplugged Performance USA team in California. In this case we will let you know the expected delivery times as soon as possible.

We are entirely confident in our products, and offer a 12-month warranty against defects or design faults within fair use.
